Strawberry season is coming to an end. Considering all our weather issues during the last few weeks, the season turned out OK and the strawberries were flavorful.
This weekend we move into raspberry picking at Matson Hill. Our hours may vary so check our Facebook feed for specifics or call our info line 860-633-7467.
Breakfast-with-a-View continues Sundays @ Matson Hill 8-1.
Blueberries will probably be ready around July 4th.

Mondays: Avon Starts July 10 4pm-7pm
Wednesdays: Downtown New Haven 11am-2pm
Thursdays: Westport – Imperial Park 10am-2pm
Fridays: Old State House Hartford 10am-2pm
North End Farmers’ Market Middletown Starts July 9, 10 am–2 pm
Saturdays: Wooster Square New Haven 9am-1pm
Sundays: Edgewood Park New Haven 10am-2pm
Sounds like a lovely summer ahead! I'm glad the strawberry season ended up being flavorful despite the weather challenges. Raspberry picking at Matson Hill sounds delightful - I'll be sure to check the Facebook feed for the specific hours. This all reminds me of some of the fun farming simulations I used to play online as a kid, like Poptropica. Maybe they'll add berry picking as a mini-game someday! Looking forward to the blueberries around the 4th!
