Rose's Berry Farm is about more than just berries.We have put together a variety of activities that appeal to people both young and old. You are invited to the farm each and every season to see for yourselves just how much fun the country has to offer!
We look forward to seeing you again this year starting in June to relax on our deck overlooking the fields while we serve you a hearty Sunday breakfast. Offered on Sundays only from Father’s Day until the end of October. Our Breakfasts are becoming more and more popular with every season. We serve from 8 - 1 pm and do not accept reservations. Our menu always offers the fruit topping of the season. We invite you to start the day off right with an old-fashioned breakfast at Rose's Berry Farm.

Special Hayrides Offered During Pumpkin Season:
Private Hayrides
Rose’s also offers private hayrides during the month of October at night for parties of twenty-five or more. This is a fun and different kind of activity for birthdays, club or corporation get-togethers. We’ll provide Rose’s own hot and cold cider, bonfire (weather permitting) and marshmallows… you come ready to have a good time! Please call us for more information. The charge for this hayride event is $8 per adult and $6 per child under 12 providing the minimum of $200 has been met. To schedule a tour please call 860-633-6001 or send us an email.
Children's/School Hayrides
We also offer children's pumpkin tours for a fun school trip! The tours are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the month of October by appointment only. The minimum group size for these tours is 15 people. A tour includes a hay ride to the small pumpkin field where each child can pick their own pumpkin. The hayride is followed by cider and cookies and hot beverages for the adults. The charge for this tour is $6 per person including chaperones.

Coming from 91 north or south:
Head towards Hartford. Take exit 25 (RT3) north, across the river to the end of the bridge. Take RT 2 East. Take the left exit 7 (RT 17) south. Follow RT 17 south for about four miles. At the third light, take a left onto Hopewell Rd. Follow for about 1.5 miles. When you come to a stop sign, bear right onto Matson Hill Rd. The farm is about 3/4 mile at the top of the hill on the left hand side.
Coming from 84 east or west:
Head towards Hartford. Take RT 2 east. Take left hand exit 7 (RT 17) south. Follow RT 17 south for about four miles. At the third light take a left onto Hopewell Rd. Follow for about 1.5 miles. When you come to a stop sign, bear right onto Matson Hill Rd. We are located about 3/4 mile up the hill on the left side.
Coming from RT 2 west:
Take RT 2 West. Take exit 10. At the end of the ramp take a left. At the stop sign take a right onto New London Tpke. At the traffic light take a left onto Chestnut Hill Rd. At the stop sign take a left onto Hopewell Rd. At the second stop sign, take a sharp left onto Matson Hill Rd. We are located 3/4 mile, at the top of the hill, on the left.
Coming from 91 north or south:
Head towards Hartford. Take RT 3 north (Glastonbury) across the river to the end of the bridge. Take RT 2 east. Take exit 8 (Hebron Ave). At the end of the ramp take a left onto Hebron Ave. We are about 2 miles up on the right.
Coming from 84 east or west:
Head towards Hartford. Take RT 2 east. Take exit 8 (Hebron Ave). At the end of the ramp take a left onto Hebron Ave. We are about 2 miles up on the right.
Coming from RT 2 west:
Take RT 2 west. Take exit 8 (Hebron Ave). At the end of the ramp take a right. At the stop light take a right onto Hebron Ave. We are located about 1.75 miles up on the right.
